Raymond Lawrie, Convener of the Dundee Liberal Democrats, has publicly welcomed the decision of the government's independent reviewer of the UK anti-terror laws to withdraw his support for the government's proposed ID cards.
Dundee Liberal Democrats have welcomed the news that five political parties have signed up to a joint agreement on the need to tackle climate change together. The Liberal Democrats, the Tories, Scottish Nationalists, Plaid Cymru and the DUP have put aside party differences to develop policies on "the most serious threat we face". The Labour Party was invited to join in this campaign, but has so far declined to do so.
