Dundee East Liberal Democrat parliamentary spokesperson Dr Clive Sneddon has welcomed the result of an online poll conducted by Friends of the Earth. This poll puts the Liberal Democrats far ahead of the other main parties in caring about climate change.

Dundee LibDems' concern at Labour Government's failure to tackle fraud and error
Dundee Liberal Democrats have today (Friday 26th May) expressed concern over new statistics released by the Department for Work and Pensions showing that targets for reducing levels of fraud and error in payments of Income Support, Job Seekers Allowance and Pensions Credit have been missed.

Councillors to meet NHS Tayside over hospital parking issue
Dundee City Council Leader, Cllr Jill Shimi, together with West End Councillors Fraser Macpherson and Neil Powrie, have today (Thursday 25th May) said that they are making arrangements to meet with NHS Tayside's chief operating officer Gerry Marr about the issue of car parking charges at Dundee's Ninewells Hospital.

LibDem Councillor expresses concern over disabled charges proposal
Dundee LibDem Councillor for Tay Bridges Ward, Cllr Fraser Macpherson, has expressed his concern regarding the latest announcement from NHS Tayside that fees from charging disabled drivers and carers to park at Ninewells Hospital will be used to finance a subsidy scheme.

"Need for charity regulator to resolve insurance issue" - Dundee LibDem Convener
Raymond Lawrie, Convener of Dundee Liberal Democrats, has today (Thursday 25th May) backed calls by the voluntary sector for the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) to resolve the issue of Trustees' Indemnity Insurance.
