Dundee LibDem Councillor acts on Step Row hydrant burst concern

Following concerns expressed by residents about delays in necessary water hydrant repairs by Scottish Water in Step Row in his Dundee Tay Bridges Ward, Liberal Democrat Councillor Fraser Macpherson has contacted Scottish Water's Business & Community Liaison Manager to ask for a full explanation for the delay in the problem being fully sorted and an assurance it will be given full priority.

LibDem councillor welcomes Dundee City Centre Police action

Dundee Liberal Democrat City Councillor for Tay Bridges Ward, Cllr Fraser Macpherson, whose area includes most of the City Centre and much of Dundee's West End, today (Saturday 12th August) praised the pro activity of Tayside Police in cracking down on anti-social behaviour in parts of the City Centre.

Raymond Lawrie, Dundee LibDem local party Convener and Liberal Democrat spokesperson for Broughty Ferry, has today (Saturday 12th August) backed an on-line petition that is seeking action from the Scottish Executive to investigate ways of tackling problems caused by jet-skis.
