Dundee LibDems today (Tuesday 11th March) welcomed the conference speech of Liberal Democrat Federal Leader Nick Clegg, who has demanded a shake-up of the whole political system. A running theme of the speech was the need for a new kind of politics.

Dundee LibDems back juice tax cuts

Dundee LibDems today (Monday 10th March) backed calls at the party's recent Federal Conference to cut VAT on fruit juice and smoothies from 17.5% to 5% to help encourage healthy diets.

Dundee Liberal Democrats back campaign to reduce excess packaging

Dundee Liberal Democrats today (Sunday 9th March) backed calls made at the recent Scottish LibDem Conference in Aviemore for binding targets to be introduced to reduce excess packaging, and slammed the SNP Government which has cut £26 million out of the Strategic Waste Fund budget.
