Dundee LibDems condemn further bad news on Tax Credits

Following recent concerns highlighted by Dundee Liberal Democrats that the Government overpaid £4.5 million of Tax Credits in 2005/6 to Dundee citizens, the LibDems have today (Sunday 3rd June) expressed great concern that millions of people are also missing out on the chance to claim money they are entitled to under the tax credit system.

Dundee LibDem councillor expresses Freeview concerns of Dundee residents

Dundee LibDem Councillor Fraser Macpherson has today (Monday 28th May) written to the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Media and Tourism, Shaun Woodward MP, following continuing concerns about the lack of Freeview TV services from many of his constituents in the West End of Dundee, a situation also affecting other parts of the City and North Fife, served by the Tay Bridge Transmitter.

Dundee LibDems hit out at Government's disgraceful Tax Credit record

Dundee Liberal Democrats have today (Saturday 26th May) hit out at the government's disgraceful Tax Credit record after the government published records showing they overpaid £4.5 million of Tax Credits in 2005/6 to Dundee citizens and wrongly paid out over £9 billion across the country over a three year period (2003/04 to 2005/06).
