News that Scottish Executive figures show up the black hole in the SNP's economics has today (Tuesday 19th December) led Dundee Liberal Democrats to question the viability of SNP spending priorities.

Scottish Liberal Democrat says LibDem Finance spokesperson Andrew Arbuckle MSP. He said: "The black hole in the SNP's economic policy has been revealed once again. These latest figures show that even if the nationalists took all North Sea oil revenues for Scotland we would all still face a tax increase of at least 21p in every pound to pay for Salmond's separate state."

Dundee LibDem spokesperson and former SNP councillor in the City, Allan Petrie, said, "The simple fact is that the SNP's promises simply don't add up. The SNP is making promises it simply could not deliver."
