Dundee's Liberal Democrat local party Convener Raymond Lawrie today (Friday 9th June) welcomed the poll data from stv's "Politics Now" programme showing the Liberal Democrats on a clear course to become the largest party in the Scottish Parliament after next May's elections.

"Its clear the Scottish Liberal Democrats are making the running right across Scotland," said Mr Lawrie.

"Here in Dundee, the party is growing and campaigning right across the City. This is being repeated right across the country. I think its really possible that our Scottish party leader Nicol Stephen could be Scotland's First Minister next year," he concluded.
