Liberal Democrat Councillor for Tay Bridges Ward, Cllr Fraser Macpherson today welcomed news that the works necessary to remove the dumped rubble and other debris at High Mill has now been carried out under the City Council's enforcement direct action powers by Dundee Contract Services.

The grass should be properly reinstated. The stones and trusses of the former Half Time School have been stored by C J Lang who were sub contracted by Dundee Contract Services. The cost of the operation will be billed to the owner of the site.

Councillor Macpherson has been campaigning for some time to have the rubble removed. "Its very good news to see this happen and I am grateful to the City Council for the action it has taken," commented Cllr Macpherson.
