Cllr Fraser Macpherson welcomes Dundee's retail success

Dundee Liberal Democrats today (Monday 2nd October) welcomed news that a national survey put Dundee's shops in the top five across the UK in terms of staff helpfulness, good stock and cleanliness.

The national survey of 50 000 "mystery shoppers" judged shops in all parts of the United Kingdom and Dundee took fourth place. Of the top five towns and cities, three (Dundee, Falkirk and Kilmarnock - the latter topping the poll) are Scottish.

"This is a super result for Dundee and shows just what super shopping facilities our City has," commented Dundee City Council's LibDem Finance Convener, Cllr Fraser Macpherson.
