Dundee Liberal Democrats - supporting Fairtrade

Dundee LibDems today (Wednesday 5th March) gave their support to Fairtrade Fortnight.

LibDem Council Group Leader, Cllr Fraser Macpherson, today attended a Fairtrade Breakfast at the City Chambers to mark this year's Fairtrade Fortnight, hosted by Lord Provost John Letford.

The speaker at the breakfast was Julius Ethang'atha, a Kenyan Tea Grower, who described the positive benefits of Fairtrade.

Cllr Macpherson said, "Fairtrade Fortnight is worthy of everyone's support and I hope all Dundonians will use Fairtrade products in the forthcoming year."
