Dundee LibDems today (Tuesday 1st May) gave their support to the Liberal Democrats' commitment to give every young person in Scotland two weeks of outdoor activity as part of the party's plans to get young people more active.

Dundee LibDem spokesperson Cllr Helen Dick said, "Two weeks of outdoor activity during their time at secondary school will be a real benefit to young people in Dundee. It will allow them to learn new skills and better understand their environment, as well as getting them more active.

"This is part of a radical package of measures proposed by the Scottish Liberal Democrats to give young people access to an exciting range of services and activities to improve their lives.

"It is vitally important to ensure all you people get outside, get active, and learn new skills."
