Following the UNICEF report showing the UK at the bottom of a league table for child well-being, Dundee LibDems have today (Thursday 15th February) given their support to calls by Scottish Liberal Democrat Leader Nicol Stephen MSP for a major shift in attitude towards young people.

Mr Stephen said, "The Liberal Democrats believe we need to transform our attitude towards young people in Scotland.

"We need a cultural shift to value our young people more."

Here in Dundee, Liberal Democrat spokesperson Claire Matthew said, "Only the Scottish Liberal Democrats have positive policies for young people. Dundee LibDems support Nicol Stephen's call for more emphasis on providing a better future for Scotland's young people."
