Dundee Liberal Democrats say party is in great shape for 2007 campaign
Dundee Liberal Democrats have today (Saturday 14th October) said that today's Scottish LibDem Autumn Conference in Dunfermline is further evidence of the party's growing strength throughout Scotland.
"The party is in great shape and its fitting that today's Conference took place in Dunfermline, the scene of the Liberal Democrat parliamentary by-election triumph earlier this year," commented Michael Charlton, Dundee Liberal Democrats' local party secretary.
Apart from debates on tackling crime and the future of Scotland's towns, burghs and communities, Conference discussed the final report of the Steel Commission and also the Scottish Liberal Democrat pre-manifesto - "Bright Future - A Vision for Scotland."
Michael continued, "Bright Future' builds on the solid record of achievement of Liberal Democrats in government in Scotland. Our pre-manifesto is about our vision for the future. Its a great time to be a Liberal Democrat in Scotland."
