Dundee Liberal Democrats today (Wednesday 3rd January) welcomed news that 97 per cent of pledges (437 out of 450) in the LibDem/Labour Partnership Agreement in the Scottish Parliament have been met or are on track.

Scottish LibDem Leader and Deputy First Minister Nicol Stephen MSP said, "While the devolved government is setting the lead, it is the massive commitment of those working in our public services which is turning policy into action and improving lives.

"We accept there is more still to be done - and we are determined to complete the Partnership Agreement and to go on delivering what the people of Scotland want."

Locally, Dundee Liberal Democrat Council Group Leader Cllr Fraser Macpherson said, "Both nationally in terms of the Partnership Agreement and locally in terms of the LibDem/Labour City Council agreement, we are seeing real success in terms of meeting the targets set to improve public services."
