Dundee LibDems today (Sunday 20th July) welcomed the launch of the party's new "Make it Happen" document, a bold statement of the party's vision and values.

Launched by Liberal Democrat Leader, Nick Clegg MP, "Make it Happen" sets out in clear language the party's position on the important issues facing Britain.

Nick said, "I believe that Britain can be better. I want us all to have a fair society, where everyone gets real opportunities and chances in life. We can make that happen by taking power from government and special interests and giving it to people and communities.

"Take a look at our ideas. Tell me what you think - and if you've got ideas of your own, I really do want to hear about them.

"It's no use wishing things were different. We've got to make it happen."

Here in Dundee, Liberal Democrat City Councillor for Strathmartine, Cllr Helen Dick, added, "The Liberal Democrats have a clear and positive vision for Britain and "Make it Happen" shows the party's proposals to move our country forward.
