News that an extra £1 million of funding for enterprise education has been announced by Scottish LibDem Leader Nicol Stephen MSP was today (Thursday 15th March) warmly welcomed by Dundee Liberal Democrats.

A report on the first three years of the Executive's Determined to Succeed programme showed that a record number of pupils are involved in enterprise learning.

Nicol Stephen said, "Determined to Succeed has achieved remarkable results in the past three years.

"We now have over 7,000 school/business partnerships - nearly four times our original target. Enterprise education is now being taught in all schools in all parts of Scotland."

Here in Dundee, local LibDem spokesperson Murray Dick said, "It is simply brilliant that a record number of pupils are involved in enterprise learning. This is a real success for Scotland's young people."
