Dundee LibDems welcome Family Learning Week

Dundee Liberal Democrats have today (Saturday 7th October) welcomed the launch of "Family Learning Week."

National Family Learning Week, which runs this year from today until 15th October, is an annual awareness campaign promoting and supporting organisations to run Family Learning Week events across the country.

The Campaign for Learning started co-ordinating Family Learning Day in 1998 to highlight the importance of Family Learning, and this has now grown to nine days of fun for families across the UK.

Dundee Liberal Democrat local party secretary Michael Charlton said, "Family Learning Week is a brilliant initiative giving families across the UK the opportunity to discover the joys of learning together in their own communities."
