Charlton gives support for more affordable homes in Scotland

Scottish Liberal Democrat candidate for Dundee West, Michael Charlton, today (Monday 30th April) gave his support to LibDem plans for 27,000 affordable homes across Scotland, and help more people in Dundee get an affordable home.

Michael said, "With house prices rising to point where couples are needing more than four times their income it is becoming more and more difficult for anyone to buy their own home.

"Local young people are being continually priced out of the community they have considered home all their lives

"The Liberal Democrats want to see 27,000 more affordable homes for communities across the country. Dundee stands to benefit from hundreds of new high quality, affordable homes.

"Buying a home is one of the biggest steps someone can take in their lives and the Scottish Liberal Democrats are committed to extending this opportunity to as many people as possible."
