Dundee LibDems at Yes! for Fairer Votes Launch in the city

Dundee Liberal Democrat candidates Allan Petrie (Dundee City East) and Alison Burns (Dundee City West) today (Saturday 2nd April) attended the launch of the Yes! to Fairer Votes campaign in Dundee.

Allan said, "It is about time there was a fairer voting system for Westminster elections and that's why I'm campaigning for a Yes! vote on 5th May."

Alison added, "The first past the post system of elections is out of date and utterly discredited. A move to a fairer system is in the people's interests as it will lead to MPs having to get the support of over half the voters in their constituency."
