Dundee LibDem Finance Convener's Council Tax pledge

Dundee City Council's Convener of Finance and Liberal Democrat Group Leader Cllr Fraser Macpherson, has today (Friday 9th February) pledged to keep Dundee's Council Tax for 2007/8 'as low as possible and hopefully with no increase at all.'
Cllr Macpherson said, "We are working as an administration very hard to keep Dundee's council tax low and a zero increase is our clear aim.
"It is vital services are protected, but that taxpayers get good value for money, and the administration will be working hard to achieve a positive outcome."
The City Council sets its Council Tax level for the new financial year on 20th February.
