Cllr Helen Dick welcomes bridge toll impact study

Dundee Liberal Democrat councillor Helen Dick today (Tuesday 23rd May) welcomed the recent Scottish Executive announcement of the details of the forthcoming bridge toll impact study.

Helen, a member of the Tay Bridge Joint Board, said, "Dundee LibDems support abolition of the Tay Bridge tolls, but the economic, environmental and social case must be made, so the details of the Scottish Executive's study is to be welcomed.

LibDem Transport Minister Tavish Scott MSP said, "This additional work will consider the economic, social and environmental impact of tolls. MSPs and others will want to submit factual evidence to this study. I look forward to looking at that evidence."
