Community healthcare initiative welcomed by Cllr Helen Dick

Dundee Liberal Democrats have today (Monday 5th March) welcomed Scottish LibDem radical proposals to cut the amount of time which NHS patients have to wait for a diagnosis, by giving a greater commitment to community healthcare.

The announcement by Euan Robson MSP, Scottish Liberal Democrat Health spokesperson comes just after the Scottish Executive published figures showing that the 18-week maximum waiting times target has been met one year ahead of schedule.

"This is an excellent community healthcare initiative, and it is to be warmly welcomed," said Dundee LibDem Councillor for Strathmartine, Cllr Helen Dick.
