Cllr Fraser Macpherson says administration working hard to keep Council Tax down

Dundee City Council's Liberal Democrat Convener of Finance, Cllr Fraser Macpherson, today (Tuesday 30th January) made clear that the City Council's LibDem/Labour partnership administration was working hard to keep the Council Tax as low as possible, without adversely affecting vital council services.

"Last year, Dundee had one of the lowest Council Tax increases in Scotland and the administration is making every effort to ensure that the 2007-8 Council Tax is kept as low as possible," said Cllr Macpherson.

"We will continue to put in every effort up to the date the Council Tax in Dundee is set - 20th February," concluded Cllr Macpherson.
