Dundee City Centre Liberal Democrat councillor Fraser Macpherson today (Sunday 15th October) welcomed progress on the works to improve the Commercial Street/High Street/Murraygate junction, which commenced last Monday.

Fraser said, "I was delighted earlier this year to be advised that the City Council is reacting positively to the concerns I have raised about pedestrian safety here. Its now good to see the works commence."

"New tactile paving at the junction will clearly help pedestrian safety, and the new seating and bollards will aid a safer crossing area," he concluded.
