Scottish Liberal Democrat health spokesperson Alex Cole-Hamilton has today criticised the Scottish government over their refusal to agree to a public inquiry over the long delayed Sick Kids hospital in Edinburgh.

Mr Cole-Hamilton said:

"Children are still being treated in a facility that is well past its sell by date.

"This project raises serious questions about this SNP government's ability to deliver major capital projects.

"The Health Secretary should have today committed to a full public inquiry into this fiasco."
