Rennie: Labour isn't listening

Responding to John McDonnell's comments suggesting that Labour would not include the option to remain in the EU in a People's Vote on the Brexit deal, Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Willie Rennie said:

"Labour isn't listening to the thousands of members who are demanding a People's Vote. The only choice a 'deal or no deal' vote gives people is which foot to shoot.

"This is a stitch up that Tony Blair would be proud of. Labour members should demand better from their leadership.

"The future of our health service and our economy are at stake. That's why Liberal Democrats want to give the people the final say on any deal through a People's Vote where they will have the option to remain in the EU."
