Cole-Hamilton: Why no day of action on health or education?

Commenting on reports that the SNP is to hold a national day of action on Scottish independence later this month, Scottish Liberal Democrat MSP Alex Cole-Hamilton said:

"The SNP would be better off holding a day of action on health or education and backing it up with some concrete action in government.

"It's absolutely indicative of the SNP's priorities that they would rather bother the public about an independence referendum it does not want than address the real challenges facing our public services.

"If the Brexit referendum has taught us anything it's that breaking up a successful union is damaging and costly."
