Responding to news that Scottish employment is down and unemployment flat, Scottish Liberal Democrat economy spokesperson councillor Carolyn Caddick said:

"This is yet more evidence that Scotland's economic performance is just plain flat.

"With the challenge of Brexit around the corner the Scottish Government needs to be working harder to make us stronger.

"Investing in people through education and mental health would be a good start."
