McArthur responds to miners’ strike policing review

Responding to the Scottish government's announcement of a review into the policing of the miners' strike, Scottish Liberal Democrat justice spokesperson Liam McArthur MSP said:

"I hope that the campaigners and families affected will take heart from the appointment of John Scott QC, after the excellent work that he has previously done on biometrics and stop and search.

"More than 30 years on it will be a challenge to engage those with the knowledge of these events but it is one that is crucial to the pursuit of justice."
