Responding to the news that a fourth complaint has been submitted against the current Chief Constable of Police Scotland, Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Willie Rennie MSP said:

"The situation in Police Scotland is continuing to be a concern.

"With the SPA considering Mr Gormley's status this week the only appropriate conclusion would be to say that he will remain on leave until all investigations have been concluded."
