Scottish Liberal Democrat general election campaign chief Alex Cole-Hamilton MSP has today accused the SNP of being in a tail spin about the Lib Dems. The First Minister is visiting the third Lib Dem marginal seat this week as she travels to the Highlands today. Responding to the visit Mr Cole-Hamilton challenged the First Minister to fund the NHS in the region properly.

Alex Cole Hamilton said:

"The First Minister is now in a tail spin about the rise of the Liberal Democrats with a third visit to a Liberal Democrat marginal seat this week alone.

"It shows that the SNP are very worried that the party will lose seats to the Liberal Democrats in seats across Scotland including East Dunbartonshire, North East Fife and now across the Highlands

"Instead of launching a miserable attack on the Liberal Democrats, the SNP should explain to the people in the Highlands when their NHS will be funded properly by the SNP Government. The region has lost out on over £14 million in the last two years alone as the SNP failed to deliver promised funds. That has had a big impact on doctors, nurses, hospitals and local services."
