If you're voting for the first time in a Holyrood election, this is what you need to know:

Who can vote

First off, you've got to be registered (if you aren't sure if you are, drop us a line here, and we're happy to check for you).

You also need to be:

How do I vote?

This part is super easy. Just go to your polling station (not sure where it is? Get in touch and we'll let you know) tell the staff your name address.

They'll cross you off the list, you go into the booth, vote and then pop your completed ballot paper in the box.

Who can I vote for

You get two votes in this election (lucky you!) one for your local MSP and one for a party on the regional list.

We'd love it if you vote Lib Dem twice - and there's a tonne of great reasons to here: but that bit is totally up to you.
