Price drop for gas welcomed

Mike Crockart MP for Edinburgh West has welcomed the announcement by Scottish Gas and British Gas that its electricity prices are to fall by an average of 5%. The cut will come in to effect immediately. It equates to an average saving of £24 per year for 5.3 million electricity customers across the UK.
