Retail figures show fragile state of Scottish economy

The latest Scottish retail figures have been published today, and they show that the Scottish Government must take action to reverse the downward trend.

Willie Rennie MSPWillie Rennie MSPFigures show that in the last quarter volume of sales fell by 0.3% in Scotland compared to a dropn of 0.1% across the rest of the UK.

Commenting, Willie Rennie said:

"These latest retail figures show just how fragile the Scottish economy is.

"The SNP Government needs to work constructively with the UK Government instead of choosing to focus on their discredited Plan MacB."
