Baby signing has received wide praise for aiding babies' ability to communicate and express themselves - reducing their frustration and crying.

Now local resident Denise Cairns, inspired by her own daughter's enjoyment of baby signing, has brought the sensation to East Dunbartonshire where sessions run on Wednesdays (at Cairns Church, Milngavie) and Thursdays (at the Burgh Hall, Bearsden) from 10:30-11:30am. Jo called in to speak to parents about the classes and see how the little ones were getting on.

Commenting, Jo Swinson said:

"I was delighted to attend the Tiny Talk class in Milngavie. Seeing babies enjoying the actions to go with the words and learning to communicate before they've learnt to talk was really special.

"Denise is an enthusiastic teacher, whose passion for the benefits of baby signing really comes across. I hope this great local class will benefit many parents and babies throughout East Dunbartonshire."
