Junior pupils at the High School of Glasgow, Bearsden, celebrated their annual Health Awareness Day with Jo Swinson MP.

Jo joined pupils for a healthy BBQ lunch before speaking to the P6 class about her role as Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Allergy as part of the juniors' Health Awareness Day. The day featured a whole-school exercise session and talks from visiting health specialists and classes on preparing healthy food.

Commenting, Jo Swinson said:

"Pupils at the High School of Glasgow were having a great time with exercise activities and picking up top tips on healthy food whilst learning valuable lessons about the importance of healthy living. It was a pleasure to talk to the enthusiastic P6 class and answer their questions about allergies, running the marathon and issues from potholes to Council Tax."
