Dundee LibDems have today (Sunday 20th August) given their support to Liberal Democrat leader Sir Menzies Campbell MP, who has called for changes in the relationship between the US and the UK.

In an article in today's 'Observer' Sir Menzies criticises Tony Blair's support for George Bush's policies and calls for more action to secure peace in the Middle East.

Dundee LibDem local party secretary Michael Charlton said, "Sir Menzies rightly criticises the Prime Minister's slavish following of Bush's position. The events in Lebanon have been truly terrible and New Labour's axis of support for George W Bush is truly worrying."
