John Barnett - Scottish Liberal Democrat for Dundee West - and his LibDem Team have been campaigning across Dundee West this weekend (6th and 7th February) and have had a great response from residents.

Speaking to constituents in Strathmartine Ward today, John said, "The Chilcott Inquiry has begun to show how the New Labour government was complicit in an illegal war in Iraq which has damaged our international reputation in the eyes of the world.

"Thanks to LibDem leader Nick Clegg's pressure on the Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, as well as Tony Blair, will have to account for his responsibilities and actions in this disastrous foreign military adventure which Lib Dems always opposed.

"We look forward to hearing his evidence at the court of public opinion and trust the electorate to draw their own conclusions on this sorry story."
