Dundee LibDems today (Thursday 12th February) backed comments by Mike Rumbles MSP on the Scottish Government ministerial reshuffle.
The SNP reshuffle sees Alex Neil and others appointed to the Government and Linda Fabiani, Maureen Watt and Stewart Maxwell sacked.
Liberal Democrat Chief Whip Mike Rumbles said, "This is the day of the blunt dirks.
"I'm delighted that Alex Neil's ultra loyalty has finally been rewarded.
"We look forward to him toeing the Ministerial line day in day out.
"The lesson of this reshuffle is that slavish adoration of the First Minister pays dividends."
Here in Dundee, LibDem City Council Group Leader, Cllr Fraser Macpherson, added, "The SNP government is in meltdown - a reshuffle followed by its ditching of local income tax within hours. What an SNP mess."
