Liberal Democrats announce Dundee By-Election candidate

Liberal Democrats in Dundee have announced their candidate for the forthcoming Maryfield Ward by-election.
He is Chris Hall, who lives in the Maryfield Ward in Baffin Street. Chris came originally to Dundee to study for a BSc (Hons) in Civil Engineering and has made Dundee his home. An active member of Dundee Liberal Democrats, he has previous experience as a council candidate. He is also editor of the "Maryfield Focus" newsletter and manages the website www.maryfield.net.
Away from politics, Chris's interests include rugby, hill-walking, history and 80s music.
Chris said, "The last two council by-elections in Dundee were Tay Bridges, a Liberal Democrat gain, and Lochee, where the LibDem vote share increased by more than any other party. I think it is important that councillors work for their local area all year round."
