"Dundee's For Peace"

Dundee Liberal Democrats have today (Friday 4th August) given their support to the "Dundee's For Peace" event, scheduled to begin tomorrow at 11am and finish at 3pm. It will comprise stalls by major campaign organisations, trade unions, activists, faith groups, NGOs etc.

There will also be a variety of activities including live music and speakers, including speeches by representatives from the main political parties, the organisations above and an opportunity for anyone to have their say on the podium on the subject of peace.

The day will be concentrating on the possibility of a socially just and peaceful world.
